Meet one of our frontline care workers, Sara!

May be a close-up of 1 person

My name is Sara, and I have worked for Carers Trust Mid Yorkshire for 5yrs. Today, my job entailed taking my client to a memory group. We did the Hokey Cokey, sung Black Lace songs, played “competitive” bean bag throwing games, to name but a few of the activities. I can’t believe I get paid for singing and dancing along to Black Lace songs! Times like that absolutely outweigh the more challenging parts of the job a carer does.”

Does this sound like something you would like to do too?! Carers Trust enables our staff to partake with our service users in a number of fun activities such as dancing, baking, singing, sports, trips to the cinema, gardening and so much more.
