Area: Remotely across the district

Location: Huddersfield Office and remotely across the District

Salary:  £22,000 (Pro Rata 3 Days per Week) on a 3-month rolling contract

Job Description

To support the Care Management Officers (CMOs) in completing the annual review of care plans for existing clients. To go out and conduct a thorough review of needs and preferences of each client, to discuss any changes with the relevant CMO, type up and complete all paperwork. To ensure that this is all done in a polite, professional and thorough manner.

Carers Trust Mid Yorkshire are a social care charity providing respite support to unpaid carers. We are currently looking for a Reviewing Officer to support the Care Team in completing the annual review of care plans for existing clients.

As a Reviewing Officer you will conduct a thorough review of needs and preferences of each client, to discuss any changes with the relevant Manager, type up and complete all paperwork. To ensure that this is all done in a polite, professional and thorough manner.

This position is 3 days per week, on a 3-month rolling contract. £22,000 per annum pro rata

Applicants must:

  • Be a driver with their own vehicle for work purposes

  • Experience working in social care
  • A good organiser – ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload
  • Ability to tackle a variety of issues simultaneously
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Knowledge of Carers and Disability issues
  • Able to demonstrate sensitivity, diplomacy and a caring attitude
