Carers Trust Mid Yorkshire is a charity providing respite support giving unpaid carers a break by stepping in to take care of their loved one for a few hours each week enabling them to have some rest and relaxation of their choice.
Our Children’s Care Support Workers provide regular support to our clients at the same time each week providing continuity for the family receiving our service and providing a regular rota for you as the Children’s Care Support Worker.
Work is varied and can include supporting clients within their own home or supporting them to access community activities such as going for a walk, accessing community groups and sporting activities. Every client you support will have different needs and will provide you with new challenges.

As a Care Support Worker, you will need to be:
- Available to work after school hours (evenings) and weekends
- Driver essential
