Joy Neal
Finance Manager
I was appointed as the Finance Manager at Carers Trust Mid Yorkshire in May 2024, having previously worked in education finance since 2008.
Seeking a new career direction, I was keen to be involved in a sector that makes a difference to the lives of people who have contributed to the local community and now find themselves needing some additional support.
No two days are the same at CTMY, making it a very stimulating environment to work in. The team are friendly, welcoming, and dedicated to providing the best standard of respite care possible, ensuring that all stakeholders feel valued and appreciated.

Victoria Stratford
Registered Care Manager
I work for Carers Trust Mid Yorkshire because I truly believe in the importance of taking breaks as a care giver and having time to reconnect with oneself. Being a carer can often overshadow personal identity, and I believe it’s crucial to prioritise self-care.
I enjoy working at Carers Trust Mid Yorkshire because our efforts are genuinely valued, and we have the opportunity to help make difficult times a little easier for families.
My journey into care began when I was a cared-for person during my teenage years following a significant horse-riding accident. The support I received provided me with meaning, motivation, and companionship at a time when I desperately needed it. This experience inspired me to give back and offer the same kind of support to others. Transitioning into the care sector felt like a natural progression in my journey, and I am grateful to be in a position where I can make a positive impact.

Emma Hartley
Business Development and Care Manager
I started at Carers Trust Mid Yorkshire in 2011 as a care support worker. I learnt first hand the importance and value of the service we provide. I moved through the organisation to where I am today and love my job. I am very passionate about the service we deliver to unpaid carers and understand the importance of our service. I have worked up through the organisation doing a variety of roles and this has given me an understanding and knowledge of almost every aspect of the care we deliver.
The organisation has encouraged and enabled me to progress to where I am today giving me training support and guidance.
