At Home Care

Essential support when you need it most

Home care visiting offers a personalised approach to receiving care in the comfort of your own home, allowing individuals to access care assistance tailored to their unique needs, whether they require occasional visits or specialised care for complex medical conditions. There are no set timescales, it is about recognising when additional support is required to manage every day tasks whether this be for the carer or the cared for.

Whilst many care organisations only provide care to adults, we support children and young adults as well.

Here are some reasons why home care is a favoured:

  • Person Led: Care plans are customised to fit individual needs, ensuring that each person’s specific requirements are met in a one-one environment
  • Flexibility: Services can be scheduled as and when necessary, providing the freedom to adjust care based on changing needs
  • Comfort: Receiving care at home is more comfortable and familiar, allowing routines to be maintained, which can be more beneficial for emotional well-being
  • Independence: A level of independence can be maintained while still receiving the support they need
  • Variety of Services: Home care can range from companionship, assistance, transport or community outings within daily activities or more complex medical care, catering to a wide range of needs
  • Family Involvement: Family participation is more active within the care process, fostering a supportive environment
  • Cost-Effective: Depending on the level of care required, home care can sometimes be more affordable than other care options
  • Continuity of Care: The ability for individuals to build trusting and lasting relationships with a smaller group of care workers

Why we consider our care workers as excellent

We directly employ our care support workers. They are ambassadors of our values as an organisation and many of our team have been with us more than 10 years. We ensure training programmes are reached and are up to date annually. We know our service is only as good as the team who provide it and therefore we take time in our recruitment process.
Compassion and empathy: Our team genuinely care for the families and individuals they support, allowing them to connect on a personal level

  • Personalised approach: Our ethos is to ensure our care team meet the individual needs of each client and are aligned with their preferences, ensuring dignity at all times
  • Reliable and trustworthy: We retain our clients through developing a high level of trust ensuring loved ones feel secure within the care they receive
  • Support for independence: Maintaining independence by assisting in daily life through the right level of encouragement and support
  • Flexible: We aim to be as flexible as possible in adapting to the needs of the people and families we support
  • Advocacy: Our care workers often act as advocates ensuring medical attention, resources and support to other family members who may not live close by
