Essential support when you need it most
Carers Trust Mid Yorkshire, in partnership with Kirklees Council, offers a carer support service designed to provide help when you need it most within the Huddersfield area. Our Emergency Support team are available to assist with a variety of needs, ensuring that unpaid family carers receive the support necessary during challenging times.
The Emergency Support Service is available to unpaid carers living in the Kirklees area. Should you be feeling unwell, or at crisis point, in a personal emergency needing short term support, this service can help you.
We can provide the following help:
– Emergency Support Worker
– Providing assistance for up to 3 days
– Available between 8am-9pm
Should overnight or longer term support be required, please do call us to see how else we can help.
Accessing the service is very simple. A self-referral is made by contacting our Emergency Care team, we will then conduct a straight forward assessment so we can provide you with the most suitable support, once complete, individualised care support will be provided immediately.
