We can provide support to take over from you at short notice by providing an emergency service.
When can you access our support?
If you are an unpaid family carer who lives in the Kirklees area, you could access free support to help you maintain your caring role should you become:
unwell
have a personal emergency
reach a crisis point
need additional short-term support
How will we support you in an emergency?
Carers Trust will send an Emergency Support Worker who will stay with the person requiring support for up to 3 days, for a maximum of 12 hours per day between 8am and 9pm. Not including overnight support.
If continued support is required, we will work with you to arrange longer term plans.
How to access our emergency care service
Anyone can make a referral to the emergency care service at any time of need or you can pre-register by contacting us on 01484 537036 or email info@CTMY.org.uk
Call us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including all Public Holidays to support you in your hour of need.

Bathing Service
We can support your loved one by purchasing our emergency bathing service for a limited time.
Adult Group Sessions
A respite service based at our hub in Huddersfield where you can bring your loved one to spend the day while you enjoy your well-deserved break.
Adult Care
Highly trained Support Workers local to your area will take over the carers usual tasks enabling them to have a well-deserved break.
